Since opening our gates in 1970, we have developed 66 seasonal and 28 daily sites while ensuring the land’s beauty is preserved through the conservation of the natural environment.

We are one of the best campgrounds in Ontario, with a wide range of site choices. Our campsites are spacious, shaded by majestic White Pines, and many sit along our mile of shoreline. Our campground is situated on a 27-mile-long lake with many bays, channels, hideaways, and thousands of acres of wilderness surrounding us.

Our campsites are free of poison ivy, and if campsites are cleaned and food properly stored, you are unlikely to be bothered by raccoons, skunks, or bears!

We can accommodate all varieties of camping: cozy tent sites surrounded by wilderness, waterfront sites, large group sites, and sites suitable for RVs. We offer both serviced (featuring water and 15 amp electrical hookup), and unserviced sites.

We have a centrally located washroom and shower facility for your convenience. Each site has a picnic table, fire pit, and ready access to some of the cleanest and well-maintained outhouses you’ll ever find.

Please note that the Township of Greater Madawaska requires that all garbage be disposed of in clear garbage bags only. For your convenience, clear bags can be purchased at the office.
